DoD Adopts Final Rule on Domestic Source Restrictions for Vessel Propellers and Ball and Roller Bearings

The US Department of Defense (DoD) has adopted a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement restrictions on acquiring vessel propellers and ball and roller bearings from foreign sources, as mandated by the DoD Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2001 and the DoD Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001.
