EPA Announces Administrative Settlement with Northrop Grumman for San Gabriel Superfund Site

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced an administrative settlement with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation regarding the San Gabriel Superfund Site. The agreement resolves potential claims under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, and allows Northrop Grumman to acquire Aerojet-General Corporation's electronics plant, which will be used for space-based sensor and smart weapons design and manufacture.
