Bell Helicopter Textron Canada to Install High Altitude Tail Rotor Static Stop Yield Indicator on Model 206L-4 Helicopters

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive requiring the installation of a high altitude tail rotor static stop yield indicator on Bell Helicopter Textron Canada Model 206L-4 helicopters to prevent tail rotor yoke failure in flight, following a determination that the tail rotor yoke is susceptible to static and dynamic overload.
