VA Proposes Amendments to Medical Benefits Package for Extended Care Services

The US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is proposing changes to its medical benefits package to cover additional extended care services, including adult day health care, geriatric evaluations, and respite care, and to establish copayment provisions for these services, as mandated by the Veterans Millennium Health Care and Benefits Act.
