Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records

The Department of the Army is altering a system of records notice in its existing inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974, (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. The alteration adds six routine uses to the existing system of records that will permit the release of records to the White House Military Office; the Sergeants-at-Arms of the House and Senate; the Department of State; the Department of Transportation; the presidential libraries and foundations; and to state and local law enforcement for the purposes of facilitating the planning and execution of funerals.
