US Department of Commerce to Rescind Part of Antidumping Duty Review on Japanese Newspaper Printing Presses

The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined to rescind part of an administrative review of antidumping duties on large newspaper printing presses and components from Japan, covering manufacturers Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and Tokyo Kikai Seisakusho, Ltd. The review period was from September 1, 1999 to August 31, 2000, and if the preliminary results are adopted, the Customs Service will not assess duties on entries of Tokyo Kikai Seisakusho, Ltd. merchandise, and the antidumping duty order may be revoked after three consecutive review periods of sales at not less than normal value.
