HHS Proposes New System to Collect and Maintain Provider Enrollment Information

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is proposing a new system, Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS), to collect and maintain information on Medicare provider and supplier enrollment, in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974.
