FTC Proposes Rule to Regulate Motor Vehicle Dealers' Sales Practices

The Federal Trade Commission is seeking public comment on a proposed rule that would require motor vehicle dealers to accurately disclose prices, obtain consumer consent for charges, and refrain from selling unnecessary add-on products, in an effort to prevent misrepresentations and protect consumers.
