BLM to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Conservation Efforts on Western Public Lands

The Bureau of Land Management will prepare a national, programmatic Environmental Impact Statement to assess the conservation and restoration of vegetation, watersheds, and wildlife habitats on public lands in eleven western states, including Alaska, in response to a National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 requirement.
