NMFS Announces Availability of Draft Environmental Assessment and Permit Application for Incidental Take of Salmonids in Washington State

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has made available a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and an application for an incidental take permit (Permit) from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the incidental take of endangered or threatened salmonids in the upper Columbia River and its tributaries in Washington State. The Permit application is for a 5-year period and includes a conservation plan and three Hatchery and Genetic Management Plans (HGMPs) submitted by WDFW.
