DEA Finalizes Rule to Regulate Control of Red Phosphorus, White Phosphorus, and Hypophosphorous Acid as List I Chemicals

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has finalized a rule to regulate the control of red phosphorus, white phosphorus, and hypophosphorous acid as List I chemicals, due to their use in the illicit manufacture of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance.
