NMFS Adjusts Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Subquotas for October-December

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has made adjustments to the subquotas for the Atlantic bluefin tuna fishery, transferring 50 metric tons from the Longline South subcategory, 10 metric tons from the Longline North subquota, and 100 metric tons from the Angling category, in an effort to maximize U.S. landings while maintaining a fair distribution of fishing opportunities.
