EPA Revises Definition of Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Unit to Allow Disposal of Lead-Based Paint Waste in Construction and Demolition Landfills

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is taking direct final action to revise the definition of a municipal solid waste landfill unit to allow the disposal of residential lead-based paint waste in construction and demolition landfills, in an effort to accelerate the removal of lead-based paint from residences and reduce exposure to lead-related health risks.
