Notice of Availability of Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Truckee River Water Quality Settlement Agreement

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made a draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Truckee River Water Quality Settlement Agreement available to the public, and is holding public hearings to receive comments on the document, which analyzes the potential impacts of implementing the agreement's provisions, signed in 1996 by the U.S. Department of Justice, EPA, U.S. Department of the Interior, Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, and other parties.
