Shell Offshore Inc. to Prepare Environmental Assessment for Deepwater Development Plan Offshore Alabama

The Minerals Management Service is preparing an environmental assessment for a proposed deepwater development plan to develop hydrocarbon reserves 115-118 miles offshore Alabama, building on the results of a recent environmental impact statement for the Gulf of Mexico Central Planning Area.
