FCC to Review Exclusive Contract Prohibition for Satellite Cable Programming

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is launching a proceeding to determine whether the prohibition on exclusive contracts for satellite cable programming between vertically integrated programming vendors and cable operators should be extended beyond its scheduled sunset date of October 5, 2002.
