FHWA to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Manassas National Battlefield Park Improvements

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is issuing a notice to inform the public that it will collaborate with the National Park Service (NPS) to prepare an environmental impact statement for potential transportation upgrades near the Manassas National Battlefield Park in Virginia, in response to the Manassas National Battlefield Park Amendments Act of 1988, which mandates the relocation of US Route 29 and VA Route 234 in the vicinity of the park.
