FAA Proposes Changes to Pratt & Whitney PW2000 Series Turbofan Engines Airworthiness Directive

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to update the airworthiness directive for Pratt & Whitney PW2000 series turbofan engines to include enhanced inspections of critical parts and modify the manufacturer's manual and maintenance program to prevent uncontained engine failures.
