EPA Approves Revision to Texas Underground Injection Control Program Administered by Railroad Commission of Texas

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revision to the Underground Injection Control (UIC) program in Texas, which regulates Class III brine mining injection wells, administered by the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC). The public has 30 days to comment on the revised program.
