EPA Approves Illinois' Air Quality Implementation Plan for Oxides of Nitrogen Regulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Illinois' rule to control oxides of nitrogen emissions from electric generating units, which is a key part of the state's response to the EPA's NO X State Implementation Plan Call, submitted on February 23, 2001.
