NMFS Issues Incidental Harassment Authorizations for Alaska Ferry Terminal Projects

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has granted permits to the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) to incidentally harm marine mammals during the construction of ferry terminals in Cordova, Chenega, and Tatitlek, Alaska, in compliance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA).
