EPA Approves Texas' Low Emission Diesel Fuel Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Texas, which establishes a Low Emission Diesel (LED) fuel program for distribution in 110 counties in eastern and central Texas, aiming to reduce ozone levels in the Houston-Galveston Area nonattainment area.
