EPA Approves Texas State Implementation Plan for Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved revisions to the State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston-Galveston Area (HGA), and El Paso (ELP) nonattainment areas in Texas, which will establish a Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) Program to reduce air pollution.
