Clean Water Act Section 303(d): Availability of Public Comment Extension for Federal Register Notices

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the public comment period for two Federal Register notices related to the Clean Water Act Section 303(d) regarding Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for water quality improvement. The extended comment period is available for the Federal Register notices 66 FR 47673-47674 and 66 FR 52403-52404, which were published on September 13, 2001, and October 15, 2001, respectively, in response to a court order issued on October 1, 1999, in the lawsuit Sierra Club, et al. v. Clifford et al., No. 96-0527, (E.D. La.).
