NOAA to Hold Virtual Public Hearings on Proposed Revisions to Deep Seabed Mining Regulations

NOAA will conduct two virtual public hearings on September 3 and 4, 2025, to gather comments on proposed rule changes to the Deep Seabed Hard Mineral Resources Act regulations, which govern the exploration and commercial recovery of polymetallic nodules from the deep seabed.
