Genesee & Wyoming Inc. Exempt from Prior Approval for Control of South Buffalo Railway Company

The Surface Transportation Board has granted Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (GWI) an exemption from prior approval requirements to acquire control of Class III rail carrier South Buffalo Railway Company, allowing GWI to directly control the carrier without needing advance approval, and has expedited the process by making the exemption effective 15 days from the date of service.
