Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Rule for Montlake Drawbridge Operations

The US Coast Guard has created a temporary regulation to manage the dual Montlake Drawbridge across the Lake Washington Ship Canal in Seattle, Washington, allowing the bridge operator to close the bridge to navigation during specific times to accommodate vehicular traffic before and after sports events at the University of Washington's facilities, starting from November 12, 2001, and ending on June 9, 2002.
