Rolls-Royce Issues Airworthiness Directive for Turboshaft and Turboprop Engines

Rolls-Royce Corporation has issued an airworthiness directive requiring replacement of a faulty gearshaft assembly in certain models of turboshaft and turboprop engines to prevent engine failure and damage to aircraft, following a report of uncontained power turbine blade releases caused by engine overspeed.
