US Adjusts Civil Money Penalties for Inflation Under FLSA

The US government has adjusted the amount of civil money penalties that can be imposed for violating minimum wage and overtime rules, as well as child labor laws, to account for inflation, as mandated by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990.
