Enstrom Helicopter Corporation Model TH-28 and 480 Helicopters Receive Airworthiness Directive Amendment

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Enstrom Helicopter Corporation's Model TH-28 and 480 helicopters, requiring the establishment of a life limit for certain main rotor hub plates and replacement of those plates after 5000 hours of service to prevent hub plate failure and loss of control.
