EPA Proposes Approval of Georgia's Clean Air Plan for Atlanta Nonattainment Area

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Georgia's revised ozone attainment demonstration for the Atlanta area, which includes a request for an attainment date extension to November 15, 2004, and a commitment to perform an early assessment of the state's ozone attainment plan.
