Update on BSE Disease Status in Germany, Italy, and Spain

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule adding Germany, Italy, and Spain to the list of regions with BSE, following the detection of the disease in native-born animals in these countries. This decision restricts the importation of ruminants and certain products from these countries.
