U.S. Certification on Northern Ireland Under the Admiral James W. Nance and Meg Donovan Foreign Relations Authorization Act

The U.S. government has issued a certification regarding the situation in Northern Ireland, as required by the Admiral James W. Nance and Meg Donovan Foreign Relations Authorization Act for Fiscal Years 2000 and 2001, which authorizes the President to certify that the situation in Northern Ireland is not a major contributing factor to the conditions of serious instability in the Middle East.
