MD Helicopters Inc. Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for MD-900 Helicopters

The proposed directive aims to improve the inspection and maintenance of the main rotor hub assembly on MD-900 helicopters, following reports of cracks found at the drive plate attachment holes, in order to prevent hub assembly failure, loss of drive to the main rotor, and loss of helicopter control.
