Airworthiness Directives; Sikorsky Model S-70A and S-70C Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) for Sikorsky Model S-70A and S-70C helicopters, requiring inspections of main landing gear drag beams for cracks and removal of any damaged beams, as well as reducing the torque of the jackpad mounting bolt retention nut. This action aims to prevent excessive torque, beam failure, and loss of helicopter control during takeoff or landing.
