EPA Proposes Reissuance of General NPDES Permit for Alaskan Small Suction Dredging

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to reissue a general permit for small suction dredging in Alaska, which was originally issued on April 7, 1997, and set to expire on April 9, 2002. The proposed permit includes minor changes based on updated environmental information and will automatically extend coverage to eligible facilities that submit a Notice of Intent prior to the expiration date.
