EPA Announces Proposed Settlement for Lorentz Barrel & Drum Superfund Site

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has executed a proposed Agreement and Covenant Not to Sue (Prospective Purchaser Agreement) with 10th Street Land Management, a California corporation, to resolve potential claims under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, related to the acquisition and operation of the 5-acre parcel at the intersection of S. 10th Street and Alma Avenue, San Jose, California.
