EPA Gives Final Notice on Sewage Sludge Disposal Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that numeric standards or management practices are not necessary for dioxin and dioxin-like compounds in sewage sludge disposed of at surface sites or incinerated in sewage sludge incinerators, allowing for continued use of this disposal method.
