CMS Proposes Changes to Home Health Agency Outcome and Assessment Information Set System

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is proposing to modify the Home Health Agency Outcome and Assessment Information Set (HHA OASIS) system, adding new routine uses to disclose information to national accrediting organizations and other federal agencies for evaluating and monitoring home health care quality. This change is required by the Privacy Act of 1974.
