Regulatory Approval for GPU Nuclear, Inc. and FirstEnergy Corp. Merger

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission has approved the merger of GPU Nuclear, Inc. and FirstEnergy Corp., following a review of the proposed acquisition, which will create a new energy company with operations at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station.
