NRC Submits Proposal for OMB Review of Information Collection on Agreement State Programs

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a revision to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 for review by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), which outlines the criteria for states to assume NRC regulatory authority and participate in the Integrated Materials Performance Evaluation Program (IMPEP). The proposal affects 32 Agreement States that have signed Section 274b agreements with the NRC.
