Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for Direct Final Rule on Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of May 21, 2001, for a direct final rule that amended the regulations regarding the Pacific Sierra Nuclear Associates (PSNA) VSC-24 listing, which includes Amendment No. 3 to the Certificate of Compliance (CoC).
