Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Revised Standardized Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has amended its regulations to include Amendment No. 3 to Certificate of Compliance Number 1004, which modifies the Standardized NUHOMS -24P and -52B cask system to add the -61BT dry storage canister, a dual-purpose design for storing and transporting spent fuel.
