Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Regulations for Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The NRC is updating its regulations to include Amendment No. 2 to Certificate of Compliance Number 1015, which adds miscellaneous spent fuel components to the approved contents list for the NAC-UMS Universal Storage System and modifies required actions in response to a cask heat removal system failure.
