Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Revised Standardized Spent Fuel Storage Casks
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has amended its regulations to include the Transnuclear West, Inc. Standardized NUHOMS -24P, -52B, and -61BT cask system, allowing for the storage of low burn-up spent fuel in the NUHOMS -24P canister, and revising the Technical Specifications to correct administrative errors.
