Mallinckrodt, Inc. Seeks Temporary Exemption from Emergency Preparedness Exercise

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is considering a temporary exemption for Mallinckrodt, Inc. from performing an emergency preparedness exercise every two years, due to unforeseen circumstances including the 9/11 terrorist attacks and a heightened alert status at the plant.
