Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for Direct Final Rule on Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of December 31, 2001, for a direct final rule that amended the NRC's regulations to include Amendment No. 2 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1015 in the list of approved spent fuel storage casks.
