Porsche GT2 Cars Eligible for Importation into the United States

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that 2001 and 2002 Porsche GT2 passenger cars, which do not meet all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), are eligible for importation into the United States. The 2001 model has safety features that can be altered to comply with FMVSS, while the 2002 model is substantially similar to a U.S.-certified vehicle and can be modified to meet the standards.
