Handbook on Electronic Filing Procedures

Consistent with the Government Paperwork Elimination Act, the United States International Trade Commission (Commission) has implemented procedures to permit persons to electronically file certain documents with the Commission. The Commission also is publishing a notice of final rulemaking to permit electronic filing. In conjunction with that notice, the Commission is issuing a final version of a Handbook on Electronic Filing Procedures that sets forth the requirements governing electronic filing of documents (Handbook). The Handbook was finalized after consideration of public comments to the initial draft of the Handbook on Electronic Filing Procedures (EFP), which was published in the Federal Register on April 26, 2002 (67 FR 20822, April 26, 2002) (Draft Handbook).
