OSHA Issues Direct Final Rule for Construction Industry Sign Standards

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is updating its construction industry standards to align with the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), replacing the outdated 1971 Manual with the 1993 revised version or the Millennium Edition, as required by the agency's 1999 interpretation letter.
